Account Deletion & Music Takedown

Find out what happens when you delete your Music Gateway account, including how it affects distributed music, active releases and takedown requests.

What happens when my account is deleted?

Deleting your account results in:

  • Loss of platform access

  • Removal of access to tools and data

  • Takedown of music across Music Gateway products

If you have distributed music with us, you will be given the option to:

  • Keep your music live through Distribution, or

  • Request full takedown from stores and platforms

If full takedown is requested, it may take time for platforms to process removal.

Once a takedown request has been initiated, it cannot be reversed.

If your music has not been taken down, you're welcome to check in on the status of the takedowns with our team by contacting support@musicgateway.com.
