# What is a pre-save and how does it work?

#### What is a pre-save?

A pre-save allows fans to save your upcoming release before it goes live on streaming platforms.

When a fan pre-saves your track:

- It is automatically added to their library on release day
- It helps generate early streams
- It signals engagement to platforms like Spotify

Pre-saves are one of the most effective ways to build momentum before your release drops.

#### Why should I use a pre-save?

Using a pre-save campaign can:

- Increase day-one streams
- Improve algorithmic visibility
- Build stronger fan engagement

The more activity your release has at launch, the more likely it is to perform well.
