A copyright claim is automatically generated when a song uploaded to SoundCloud matches audio in SoundCloud’s Content ID system.
As part of our distribution service, if you opt into Content ID, your original content will be delivered to SoundCloud’s Content ID system to help protect your release.
If you need to whitelist a SoundCloud profile in order to upload your song, please contact distribution@musicgateway.com with the profile URL you want to whitelist, along with the song title and UPC code you are referring to.
Please note - We advise against opting into Content ID for future releases if you plan to upload your own content to SoundCloud.
