Important information about making changes to your music after it has been released...
You can update some release details after distribution, but we strongly recommend only submitting your music when you're fully happy with all the information. Post-release changes take time and may not apply consistently across all platforms.
There’s a short window - while your release is still 'in-review' - when you can make changes freely. Once it’s approved and sent to stores, key elements like the audio, ISRC, and UPC cannot be changed as these are unique identifers to the release. If you need to amend those, you’ll need to request a takedown and resubmit as a new the release.
Things like credits, genres, and artwork can be updated at any time. To edit, go to the distribution section, find the song, click "Edit," make your changes, and check out. The release will re-enter the Quality Assurance queue to be approved and updated appropriately.
Keep in mind that it is not best practice to have to update songs at a later date after release, as we cannot guarantee that these updates will be successful across all platforms.
