What are coins? and how can they be used?

Music Gateway operates on a coins system within the platform. Credited monthly, your coins will allow you to use the features on the account...

Depending on which account type you have, will depend on how many coins you are credited.

For example:

Free Account  50 Coins
Pro Account 150 Coins
Unlimited Account Unlimited Coins

These coins will be credited to your account and re-set to it's original value monthly. Your coins can't be carried over, but you do have the option to purchase more should you need them.

How much are the coins?

You can purchase one of three packages at any given time and your coins will be credited to your account. These coins can carry over and will stay in your account until you use them.

50 Coin Package £9 $11 €9
100 Coin Package £15 $18 €15
250 Coin Package £30 $36 €30

You can purchase the coins simply by navigating to the settings section of your account or simply clicking on the coins icon on your dashboard.

What's the cost of the features?

Our feature costs vary depending on what you are looking to do. For example it will cost you more to distribute an album in comparison to a single. Below we have a full list of our features and it's cost comparatively to coins.

Feature Coin Cost
Distribute a single 50
Distribute an album 100
Import a single 0
Refresh your artist insights 20
Claim publishing on a song 30
Submit song to the sync library 30
Submit to a sync brief 30

Is it more cost effective to just upgrade?

It depends entirely on how much your using the system. If you are purchasing coins in addition to your monthly coin credit, then I would suggest you're on the wrong account type. Our coins are more expensive than the unlimited account credit so I would take this in to consideration when choosing.
