How long before my release date should I upload my music?

This gives us sufficient time to process your release, make any necessary changes, deliver your music to your selected platforms and resolve any delivery or processing issues before your planned release date.

Once your release has been approved, it still needs to be delivered to and processed by each platform before it becomes available to listeners. Processing and ingestion times can vary, so uploading early helps ensure there is enough time for your release to go live as planned.

Uploading early also gives you more time to promote your music before release. This is particularly important when pitching tracks for playlist consideration through Spotify for Artists, as well as planning your wider promotional activity.
