Refund Policy Explained

Understand Music Gateway’s refund policy, including the 14-day cooling-off period for first subscription payments, automatic renewals, deposits and professional music services.

Can I get a refund?

Music Gateway provides digital subscription services and professional music services. Refund eligibility depends on the type of payment and whether the service has been used.


14-Day Cooling-Off Period (First Subscription Payment Only)

You may be eligible for a full refund within fourteen (14) working days of your first subscription payment, provided:

  • This is the first payment made as part of your subscription or payment plan

  • You have not used any of the services during this period

  • You meet the eligibility criteria outlined in our Terms

This cooling-off period applies only to the first payment of a subscription or payment plan.

It does not apply to renewal payments.


Subscription Renewals

All subscriptions are set to automatic renewal.

By creating an account and completing checkout, you agree to:

  • Automatic renewal at the end of each billing period

  • The pricing and billing frequency shown at checkout

Renewal payments are not eligible for refund.

Cancelling prevents future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.

If you wish to opt out of automatic renewal, you must email support@musicgateway.com before your next renewal date.


When Are Refunds Not Available?

Refunds are not available:

  • After the 14-day cooling-off period has passed

  • For any renewal payments

  • Once services have been accessed or work has begun

  • If eligibility criteria are not met

Work is considered started when:

  • A release has been submitted for Distribution

  • Publishing Administration registration has begun

  • Sync Representation pitching has begun

  • A mastering file has been delivered

  • A Pre-Save campaign has been activated

  • Artist Insights data has been accessed

Once action has been taken internally or with third parties, the service cannot be reversed.
