If you’re seeing tracks in your “My Music” list that don’t belong to you, it could be due to metadata inconsistencies or a sync error with the platform.
Don't panic, these tracks are not connected to your rights or royalties and won’t affect your distributions.
To resolve this, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the Settings page in your account and check the Artist Slot section. Ensure you are syncing with the correct artist profile on Spotify. If the wrong artist is selected, update this to reflect your profile.
2. Review your “My Music” list and remove any tracks that do not belong to you.
3. Verify that your uploaded tracks have accurate metadata to avoid future discrepancies.
4. If the issue persists or seems widespread, provide details via our chatbot Luna, including screenshots if possible, so our team can investigate further.
Important Note: Cleaning up your “My Music” list will not affect any of your live releases or royalties. Everything already distributed remains secure and unaffected.
