An ISRC and ISWC are unique codes attached that enable usage tracking, especially for Performing Rights Organisations.
The ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is attached to the audio file and links back to recording owners, whereas, the ISWC (International Standard Works Code) is attached to the work/composition and links to songwriters/publishers ensuring everyone collects the correct royalties.
Neither of these codes aren’t mandatory in order to submit to our catalogue but you might miss out on backend royalties without them. An ISRC and ISWC are a mandatory requirement when licensing to UKTV.
