What Are ISRC, UPC and ISWC Codes?

Understand what these codes are used for and when they are required during Distribution or Publishing Administration.

ISRC identifies a specific recording.

UPC identifies a release.

ISWC identifies the composition.

If you do not already have ISRC or UPC codes, they can be generated during Distribution.

ISWC codes are typically required for publishing registrations where applicable.
