I Was Charged After Cancelling

Why you may have been charged after cancelling your Music Gateway subscription and how billing timing works.

Why was I charged?

The most common reason is that cancellation was completed after the renewal date.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not reverse a billing cycle that has already processed.


Common causes

  • Cancellation completed after renewal

  • Opt-out email not received before billing date

  • Multiple accounts using different email addresses

  • Renewal date misunderstood
